Jassi Arora co-leads Duke Energy’s Customer Connect program as vice president of Business Transformation & Technology and Customer Connect Delivery. He is responsible for consolidating and modernizing the company’s legacy billing systems into one customer service platform to deliver the universal experience customers expect. Customer Connect will simplify experiences for Duke Energy customers and employees; strengthen the company through modernized technology and increased efficiencies; and advance opportunities through speed to market, new products and services and enabling a modern, skilled workforce. In addition to Customer Connect, Jassi is also accountable for IT department supporting digital customer experience, all legacy Customer Systems, Renewables applications and Call Center technologies.

Jassi is a seasoned business and IT executive with more than 25 years of experience in the customer service and transmission and distribution areas of the utility industry. He joined Duke Energy in October 2017 from Arizona Public Service (APS), where he led the successful implementation of large-scale customer information and grid modernization projects.

Prior to leading the programs at APS, Jassi worked for large consulting organizations, partnering with several utilities to implement programs such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Distribution Management System (DMS), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart Grid Solutions.

Jassi holds several degrees including a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Computer Application and a Master of Science in statistics.

Jassi and his wife, Ruchi, have two sons.
